Children's Church
The Ministry practices the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ wherein he said; “We should bring the little children to him”
The Children’s’ department caters for the spiritual needs of the younger members of the church. Children are separated into groups depending on their ages to facilitate interaction with their teachers and a deeper understanding of the Gospel.
The teachers in the department are trained specifically for the Children’ ministry and are well equipped by the leading of the holy spirit and seminars and teachings given to them to assist them in imparting knowledge into the lives of the children.
The Children are taught how to pray and are also given memory verses to learn. The verses are usually short and are given at the end of the class after the portion from which the verse is taken has been explained to them. We believe that if a child commits the verses to heart, at the time of need, he can easily remember them and bring it to fore in times of challenges By the time the child reaches adulthood, it is expected that the child is already thoroughly versed in the bible, would have received the gift of the Holy Spirit and other gifts of the sprit that will assist him in his Christian walk. This department is headed by a full time Pastor who has a calling into children ministry.
Children Camp
This is usually held during the summer months. The essence of the camp is to enable children spend quality time with God rather than get entangled in the things of the world such as following peers to roam the streets, reading pornographic materials, stealing.
Apart from Christian teachings, the children also play team sports (to assist them interrelate with other people), and are encouraged to pursue their individual hobbies (to assist them in self-confidence) learn how to play musical instruments etc.
